The analytical sensitivity of the Rapid HCG Pregnancy Urine Test is 25mIU/ml.

Specificity:

The specificity of the hCG Pregnancy Test was determined from cross-reactivity studies with known amounts of Luteinizing Hormone (hLH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (hFSH), and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (hTSH). Negative results were obtained from all tests conducted with 300 mIU/ml hLH, 1000 mIU/ml hFSH , 1000 µIU/ml hTSH and negative hCG Specimen.

Accuracy:

Studies were performed which consisted of testing 81 positive and 208 negative specimens using the Rapid HCG Pregnancy Urine Test versus a reference hCG test. The relative sensitivity is 100%(81/81), relative specificity is 99.5%(207/208), overall agreement is 99.7% (288/289).
