The centrifuge works on the principle of sedimentation of particles in liquids through rotational movement. It can be controlled by setting the desired speed and time using a microprocessor control unit, which ensures ease of use. The device provides safe and convenient use with features such as motor shutdown when the lid is open, a lid lock that ensures it does not open during centrifugation, manual lid opening to take samples inside in case of power failure, warning the user in case of errors, that may occur during operation, and an audible signal indicating the end of the centrifugation process after each operation.
